Brittany Martin
owner, Licensed Esthetician

Meet Brittany Martin, a trailblazing esthetician whose journey began at the Aveda Institute Birmingham in 2009. Armed with dual state licenses in Georgia and Alabama, she embarked on a solo adventure, founding Wild Cactus Spa in Georgia—a nod to her love for all things western, inspired by her daughter's wild spirit, aptly named Wilder. Brittany's expertise blossomed at the original Retreat Day Spa on Overton Road before life led her to Georgia. Several years ago she returned home to the rejuvenated Retreat Day Spa. She and Jill decided to join forces, blending their experiences into a powerhouse of skincare and massage excellence in their own community of Trussville by opening Mockingbird Day Spa. Her approach is refreshingly open and honest, paired with a fun-loving charm that instantly puts clients at ease. Her mission? To not only address skincare concerns but also to create an environment where clients feel not just comfortable but truly welcomed. Brittany extends her expertise to fellow estheticians, aiming to help them flourish and reach their goals. In the heart of Trussville, she's on a mission to offer a fresh perspective on skincare, ensuring the community experiences the best in esthetic care.

Licensed Massage Therapist

Our bodies tell the story of how we live our lives. Muscles are the pages written by our daily lives. It’s all in there and for 25ish years it’s been my journey to unravel those stories recovering the messages imbedded within.
Yes, I did go to school for this, in Las Vegas! I could just list all my education, classes, certifications and knowledge, but just know there’s plenty of tools in my “bag of tricks.” Nothing escapes me, but also I’m not beyond referring to other professionals when necessary. Over the years I’ve seen SAHM, professional athletes, celebrities, farmers, very young competitive hopefuls, and your grandma, momma, and other friends & family. Just regular people living regular lives. There is no greater gift than to help ease a newly pregnant momma through her journey to birth. What I do through massage therapy is help people live more comfortably in their bodies. It’s not magic, but it can be magical. Life takes us to many places, massage brings us back to center. When I don’t have my hands on someone then I’m wrangling massive pups, cutting down trees on the farm or hanging on for dear life to a horse or a bike or trying to breathe under water!

She enjoys helping clients identify the source of body problems, and finding practical solutions to them. He excels at specific work on issues like restoring hip/knee/foot/ankle mobility after plantar fasciitis, shin splints, or surgery, but gives a great and detailed all-over massage, too. Adrianna Strayer
Licensed Massage Therapist

The first professional path I wanted to follow was to become a massage therapist. My family encouraged me to take a more traditional path of college and teaching, which I learned a lot from but I still had the dream of being a massage therapist in the back of my mind. I have been blessed with a loving husband and wonderful children, and have decided that now is the time to follow my life long dream of becoming a massage therapist! I graduated from Body Logic School of Cosmetology and Massage and I am so excited to begin my new career! (Graduated in June 2023) My favorite type of massage is neck and facial work, targeting areas for headaches and tmj relief What I love most about massage is the ability to bring harmony, health and happiness to my clients. In my spare time I love being a wife, a Trussville baseball and cheer mom, gardening and curling up with a good book.
